Ceramics artist and teacher Nicola has spent almost three decades as an active member of the creative community.

After graduating from TAFE in 1986, Nicola was invited to teach at the Ku-ring-gai Community Arts Centre, part of the Ku-ring-gai Council, where she worked for 27 years.

As an artist, Nicola expresses herself through her work. But she says she felt strongly that being a teacher was part of her contribution to the ceramic world, to share her talent and enthusiasm with students, building their confidence and enjoyment with clay.
