Am I eligible to receive the Age Pension?

To qualify for the Age Pension, you’ll need to meet the Government’s eligibility requirements. These may include but are not limited to:

  • reaching Age Pension age
  • meeting residency rules
  • satisfying both income and assets tests.

How much is the Age Pension?

How much you get depends on your income and assets tests, and whether you're single or in a couple.

As a guide, here are the current payments for those who are entitled to the full Age Pension.
