Donna Heffernan has over 30 years’ experience in the finance industry, initially in accounting, auditing and taxation, and has held senior positions in both the private and government sectors. During the last 15 years, she has specialised in compliance and governance within the superannuation industry. Donna has been a member of the Board of the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors since June 2019.

With over 25 years’ experience in brand building and marketing, Chantal Walker has gained broad experience across both start-up technology and leading brands in Australia, North America and South Africa. She has held senior marketing positions at Qantas, Foxtel, Telstra, Vodafone and HSBC.

Craig Turnbull has worked in the investment sector for over 30 years as a portfolio manager, a fund manager and a chief investment officer, developing an expert understanding of both local and international equity markets. 

Craig joined the management team in July 2008.

Peter has over 30 years’ post-qualification experience, including 20 years in banking and financial services with both global and member-based organisations.

Bart has extensive expertise in risk management, governance, legal, and compliance in financial services. As Chief Risk Officer, he plays a crucial role in the Executive Leadership Team, supporting the Board Chair and Risk Committee Chair while maintaining a robust risk framework. Bart's primary focus is on protecting members best financial interest and to secure their retirement. His legal background complements his risk skills, enabling him to navigate complex regulations adeptly.

Natalie Kalouche

Governance is not about constantly saying ‘no’, it’s about understanding the business and clearly defining and communicating the parameters within which we can achieve the desired outcome.

With over 18 years’ experience in law, financial services and superannuation, Natalie brings a wealth of governance, compliance and legal knowledge to Active Super. Natalie started her career in private practice before joining the fund in 2012. She is also a passionate advocate for the financial wellbeing of women and has been a member of the NSW state committee for Women in Super since 2020.

With over 20 years’ experience in building highly engaged cultures, Tim has gained broad experience in HR and general management roles across both start-up digital environments and at scale. He has previously lead the HR function in Amazon Operations Australia, Open Colleges and Optus.
