Business Development Manager

Our Experience team is expanding and on the look-out for a super star who can identify and connect with new client employers.  Every day will be different and the right person will generate opportunity so we’re looking for someone who’s got their eye on the prize and who knows how to self-start, while having fun as part of a collaborative team.

This exciting new 12 month contract opportunity requires you to have boundless energy, be passionate and persuasive – if this is you, then come be a part of our seven time award winning fund! 

You going to be very busy doing (but not limited to): 

  • Develop and implement a growth strategy
  • Lead the end to end sales process for new client acquisition
  • Research business opportunities 
  • Develop, pursue new business opportunities, proposals and negotiate effectively
  • Attend networking, industry event and employer conference 

You need to bring:

  • Minimum of 5+years’ B2B experience in roles primarily focussed on growth / sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Problems solving and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Well organised and self-motivated
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • A desire to have fun while making a difference

Desirable: 

  • Solid understanding of Superannuation legislation, compliance, and regulatory matters 
  • An understanding of Defined Benefit funds 
  • Working experience within financial services
