| The rules governing the administration of self managed superannuation funds are complex and potentially time consuming. ActiveSuper administrative services provide a highly specialised and efficient range of services to fully manage all administrative obligations of a fund. |

| Administration of the fund’s Trust Deed(s) |
| Under the Administration Agreement, ActiveSuper Pty Ltd is appointed by the trustees as the administrator to manage the establishment and administration of the fund on a day-to-day basis. |
| The rules that govern the fund are contained in its Trust Deed and superannuation laws. Active Super can provide a comprehensive and flexible Trust Deed when you establish a new fund. |
| As part of the ActiveSuper services, we can arrange for the fund’s Trust Deed to be reviewed on a regular basis in respect of ongoing compliance with and changes in superannuation laws. Active Super will notify the trustees of updates for the fund’s Trust Deed as required to reflect any applicable changes to superannuation laws and ensure that the fund’s Trust Deed remains compliant with those laws. |
| Primary point of all investment, records and compliance correspondence for the Fund |
| As part of the ActiveSuper services, ActiveSuper Pty Ltd acts as the primary “mailbox” for all investments, records and compliance correspondence relating to the fund. |
| When any correspondence is Financial ledger Issue activity records received, it is scanned and the management and regular management document image is then available to bank reconciliation checks the ActiveSuper administration staff as well as your financial adviser, accountant and the trustees through the secure ActiveSuper website. |
| When ActiveSuper receives certain correspondence that requires your action and/or response, we will forward a copy to you (or to your financial adviser) including (but not limited to): |
» Corporate actions;
» Change of share registration details forms;
» Other documents specifically listing your action where ActiveSuper does not have legal authority to act on your behalf. |

| Record keeping |
| Under current Australian law, certain records relating to your self managed superannuation fund must be kept for a minimum of 5 years and other records for a minimum of 10 years. ActiveSuper provides record keeping administrative services of these records on your behalf, ensuring your fund’s records are accurate and up-to-date. |
| To ensure your fund remains compliant and all financial transactions are accurately recorded and balanced, ActiveSuper ensures the regular entry and balance of all financial transactions against the fund including (but not limited to) purchases, disposals, income and liabilities/expenses. |
| Furthermore, ActiveSuper’s experienced and professional trained administrators ensure that your ledger transactions are balanced against your bank account statements on a regular basis. |

| Task activity records management |
| ActiveSuper uses an advanced workflow system to ensure that all activities required to be actioned for the fund by its experienced and professionally trained administrators are identified as specific tasks. In turn these tasks are tracked to ensure they are completed and verified by senior staff a second time as a quality check on the administrative services for the fund. |
| All tasks ever undertaken for the fund are kept in an accurate record with other key fund data for the life of the fund being administered by ActiveSuper. |
| All communication resulting in a task or a response on behalf of the trustees and/or nominated representative such as their financial adviser, accountant or legal representative are recorded as issues against the fund. |
| This allows ActiveSuper administration staff to keep track of outstanding communication matters whenever a phone call, email or other communication such as a letter/fax is received. |
| As a result, the resolution, quality of completion, associated tasks and documents of any issue are tracked for the life of the fund being administered by ActiveSuper. |
