Under current Australian law certain records relating to all SMSFs must be kept for a minimum of five (5) years and other records for a minimum of ten (10) years. ActiveSuper provides record-keeping and administrative services of these records on your and your clients’ behalf, ensuring that fund records are accurate and up-to-date.
To meet these legislative requirements, when correspondence is received it is stored electronically. This enables each document to be available, through the ActiveSuper Portal, to you as the Accountant, ActiveSuper staff as well as the Trustee.
The ActiveSuper Portal provides you with a secure and reliable method to access important information regarding your clients funds including Document Library, Latest Fund Reports and Fund Summary. In addition to this you will have access to various forms such as Contributions, Investment Strategy, Benefit Payment, Trust Deed Amendment, Rollover Request, Direct Debit, Pension Commencement and Intent to Claim a Tax Deduction for use as and when required.
Through the ActiveSuper Portal you are able to lodge any issues, queries or requests you have relating to your client’s funds. All issues, queries and requests entered are captured on the system and immediately notified to your ActiveSuper account manager. You may then monitor the status of the issues lodged.
